What to Expect
We invite you to join us on Sunday mornings to worship God and study the Word. Our church gatherings are characterized by Biblical preaching, corporate singing and prayer, and friendly fellowship. First Baptist is multi-generational with young families, college students, seniors, and everywhere in between. We hope you will feel welcomed no matter what stage of life you are in. Greeters are available at the door to welcome you, answer questions, and guide you to locations throughout the building.

Sunday School
Classes for all ages meet to study a range of Biblical topics, books, and doctrines.
10:30 AM
Coffee & Fellowship
In between Sunday School and the Worship service, we gather in the gymnasium for a time of fellowship. Coffee, donuts, and other refreshments are provided.
11:00 AM
Worship Service
Worship services start off with announcements about upcoming ministries and events, followed by Scripture reading and a time of prayer. Our worship team leads us in a set of doctrinally rich songs in a range of styles.
Following worship, we enter into a time of preaching. Sermons are generally expositional, focusing on interpreting and applying a specific passage of Scripture. Sermon series throughout the year cover areas of both the Old and New Testament, with a focus on the central theme of the Gospel.
The sermon is followed by a final worship song and a benediction to wrap up the service.
Children’s Church
Children aged 4 years old – 3rd grade are invited to attend this program, where workers teach a Bible lesson and lead fun activities. A slide during worship will dismiss kids for Children’s Church before the sermon.
Nursery
Our nursery and mothers comfort room are available on Sunday mornings for babies aged birth to 2 1/2 years old.
Hearing Assistance
Hearing assistance is available for the Sunday sermon. Please see the volunteers at the sound booth located at the back of the auditorium.
Wednesday Nights
Wednesday nights at First Baptist serve as a mid-week opportunity to connect with others and learn from God’s Word with programs for all ages.
