Thanks Be To God For His Inexpressible Gift!

The world around us this week will be a bit more thankful than normal. Believers in Jesus, on the other hand, have something that ought to make them thankful year round. Fruit of the Spirit – Summer Adult Sunday School Series

This summer we’re enjoying a Bible study on the Fruit of the Spirit by Dr. James Merritt. Join us for this encouraging video series. Sunday School starts at 9:30 AM
Because love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control seem so commonly discussed in church today, we often gloss-over when we hear them mentioned. Yet, you’ve noticed them in others and were intrigued. That same intrigue is what God will use to draw others to us.
Teen Mission Project – May 28, 2016
On May 28, 2016 the youth will be participating in a mission project taking place at The Springs Camp. Along with another youth group, they will be be working on building a bouldering wall/fence. The cost is $20 per person to cover the cost of materials. See Barrett Lehr to sign up for the project. An additional $1300 is needed for building material and you can help by contributing. Please mark your gift "The Springs Wall Project" and place in the offering or mail to the church.
VBS Planning Under Way
The Vacation Bible School leader and helper planning session with Uncle Bob is Sunday, May 22 at 5 PM. We will meet to discuss staffing of each room, what that entails for teachers and volunteer youth, and address any last minute questions or concerns. All helpers are required to attend.
Please start collecting candy and bath tissue rolls. This will help Uncle Bob and the Vacation Bible School Programs for children all over our area. There will be a collection basket behind the information desk for these items.
And let’s pray for Bob Beery, all the helpers and the children.
Vacation Bible School is June 12-16, 2016 — 6-8:30 PM.
